Or you may use scented candles that can give a more romantic effect. But do not choose scents that are too overpowering because it might drive away your guest. Your bedroom will look better if it is clutter-free. Keep unused stuff in the cabinet or in the closets. An organized bedroom will be more inviting and welcoming than a cluttered one. It will also look more relaxing.

Place it at the bottom area. This can give more ambience to the room as it directs light towards the floor. This can be an opportunity for your flooring to be noticed. You can also place candles in your dining room. You can even let it stand in a candelabrum which can be an added accessory to the room. Using candles can add ambience for a romantic dinner and for other purposes. But, you don't have to use it every day. Use it on special occasions. When not in use, it can still be a good accessory.

But you can still balance that by using other shapes for some items like round throw pillows, free form sculpture, oval coffee table and others. Having a huge window will allow natural light to enter the living room. It is an advantage for you can have enough light during the day. Use blinds or curtains so that you can cover the window during the night.

Paint the ceiling with white for it gives a sense of height and space. Do not use dark and bold paint for the ceiling for it will make the room look boxed-in. For the walls, use neutral tones for it will give an illusion of added space. Do not crowd your wall with wall hangings. Leave at least one wall without it to have an impression of space.

If you think your old one will still look good and apt, then use it. You can also change its color if you want to. Choose the right size and shape of your table. If your area is small, you can use a round table. Your seats should be comfortable. It has to complement with your table, too.
