Or you may use scented candles that can give a more romantic effect. But do not choose scents that are too overpowering because it might drive away your guest. Your bedroom will look better if it is clutter-free. Keep unused stuff in the cabinet or in the closets. An organized bedroom will be more inviting and welcoming than a cluttered one. It will also look more relaxing.

Pinkish giraffe and white cottons inspire this bedroom creating a great accent wall using various framed images of the giraffe. Flowers everywhere! Trim these with tassels, cords, braid and crystals to add more embellishments. You can also have a stained glass window if you are willing to spend money for it. To get that Victorian look, use decorative mouldings, ornaments, plasterwork and arches for your walls. Arches can create a grand look while plasters and mouldings give that look of authenticity. These things may cost a lot but would certainly give you the look you want. But if you want to save money, you can opt for walls with deep rich colors like red. You may also apply unique wallpapers with metallic or ornate prints.

You can also use seating pieces that are upholstered in brocade, velvet and embroidered. Add some throw pillows with attractive covers. Choose furniture with exposed wood in some parts like on the arm rest, legs and along the upper back of the chair. Use a table that is carved, marble topped, spindled or faux bamboo. You can accent it with traditional-style lamps and porcelain jars with crocheted doilies under it. For a more classical look, place a bookcase that can fill from floor to ceiling.
